Final ACTA draft released
The US Trade Representative released a finalised draft of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement yesterday
In a joint
statement the negotiating parties said that the text still
needed to be legally verified, but would then be passed to the
member states for ratification.
"I welcome today's statement concerning the ACTA agreement
that paves the way towards a more efficient fight against
counterfeiting worldwide," said the EU's chief trade negotiator
