WIPO hits out at Icann processes

In a strongly worded letter posted online, WIPO has said it finds Icann's processes “inward looking” and subject to “registration-driven pressures”
In addition to comments posted about rights protection measures in the latest draft applicant guidebook (DAG) for new gTLDs, the WIPO Center for Mediation and Arbitration has outlined to Icann some of the problems it sees with the governing body of the domain system's procedures and decision making processes in a second filing to the comment period on the DAG on July 22.
