Trade mark clearance service CT Corsearch has acquired Edital, a European brand management company.
The new company will feature the most trade mark databases in the industry and greater local presence in both the US and Europe.
Charles Besson, CEO of Questel, which formerly owned Edital, said the deal will allow Questel to expand its patent-related services. "The Edital sale will give us the means to accelerate an ambitious build-up strategy around patents," he said.
