SABIP axed in UK government efficiency drive

The UK government is to close down its Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property policy as part of a quango-cutting exercise

Business Secretary Vince Cable said that SABIP would close within a year and that its functions will be transferred to the Intellectual Property Office.
