Senate bid to pass patent reform blocked

An attempt to add patent reform bill S515 to legislation concerning small business loan funding in the US has been barred

Stephen Kunin of Oblon Spivak Maier & Neustadt told Managing IP that Senator Harry Reid voted against amending a House bill on small business loans to include the Manager's Amendment to S515, which was approved by the Senate in March.

Reid reportedly felt that the bill already...
