Given that everything on the right side of dot is considered generic, what effect would getting a .brand TLD have on enforcement, Yahoo’s IP counsel asked yesterday
Speaking at the Icann 38th International Meeting session Brand Management in the Age of New gTLDs on June 23, J Scott Evans of Yahoo! caused a bit of stir when he highlighted that most jurisdictions consider a top-level domain to be generic.
