• CHINA: Lovells has recruited China IP specialist Cliff Borg-Marks as a consultant in its Beijing offfice. Borg-Marks worked as a diplomat in Beijing in the 1980s and led the IP practice of Baker & McKenzie in China in the 1990s. He now focuses on commercial IP, due diligence and government lobbying.
• France: Sophie Havard Duclos, former head of the IP/IT team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris, has joined Laude Esquier Champey.
