China slashes trade mark pendency

The China Trade Mark Office has cut its trade mark pendency to 18 months in 2009 and plans to register marks in less than 12 months in 2010

The reduction is a big improvement on the average of 30 to 36 months it was taking to register trade marks just two years ago.
