eBay fined in France again - updated

A Paris court has ordered eBay to pay €1.7 million ($2.6 million) to Louis Vuitton owner LVMH for failing to enforce an injunction barring the sale of LVMH products on eBay in France
The fine consists of two periodic payments of 850,000. One relates to use of LVMH's perfume trade marks, the other to the use of announcements selling infringing LVMH goods.
The court found that eBay's efforts to prevent both issues were insufficient, despite the auction site employing 87 people for this task.
