eBay loses keyword case to Dior

A French court has ordered eBay to pay LVMH €80,000 for using the fashion company’s trade marks as keywords, just days before an ECJ opinion is expected in similar cases involving Google

The Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance has also forbidden eBay from continuing such activities and will impose a fine of €1,000 for each future infringement, LVMH said.
