IP official eyes EPO top job (updated)

The head of another national IP office in Europe has revealed that he is considering standing as EPO president
Jesper Kongstad, the director general of the
Danish Patent and Trademark Office
, told
Managing IP
that he asked the Administrative Council to relieve him of his duties as vice-chair of the Council while he decides whether to make a bid for the presidency.
