IP firms Albihns and Zacco are to merge with effect from July 1

The new firm will have some 600 employees, including some 210 attorneys, in six countries – Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and the US.

It will be known as Zacco Group, though the Swedish and German offices will be called Albihns.Zacco and the Dutch office Shieldmark.Zacco.

Hans-Bertil Håkansson will be the group’s chief executive while Michael Gaarmann, now CEO of Albihns, will become deputy CEO with responsibility for business development.
