The IP record of Obama’s Supreme Court nominee

US President Barack Obama has chosen federal judge Sonia Sotomayor as his nominee to replace Justice David Souter on the US Supreme Court

Earlier this month Souter confirmed that he will retire in June.

Sotomayor has served as a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York since 1998. Prior to that appointment, she was a US district court judge for the Southern District of New York. She also worked in private practice...
