Former O’Melveny & Myers partners Dale Cendali, Claudia Ray and Diana Torres have joined Kirkland & Ellis’s intellectual property group in the New York and Los Angeles offices.

Cendali’s clients include JK Rowling, Warner Bros, Twentieth Century Fox and Victoria’s Secret. She has argued before the US Supreme Court and previously served as chair of O’Melveny’s New York IP and technology practice and firm-wide chair of the copyright, trade mark and internet sub-practice.

Ray’s experience is in copyright, trade mark and internet-related litigation and counselling. She handles matters for clients in the entertainment and media, financial services, technology and consumer products sectors.

Torres joins Kirkland’s Los Angeles office, where she will focus on copyright, trade mark, false advertising, trade secrets and internet law. She has represented internet service providers, consumer electronics manufacturers, financial institutions, and clients in the fashion, film and music industries.
