CHINA: Bird & Bird has recruited James Luo from Motorola to work in the firm's Beijing office as head of its Asian IP enforcement practice. At Motorola, Luo was senior IP counsel for north Asia and was in charge of IP enforcement and litigation in China, Taiwan, South Korea and Vietnam. Luo, who is vice-chair of the Quality Brand Protection Committee, joins Bird & Bird as a partner.
