Microsoft and consumer technology company Pioneer have signed a cross-licensing agreement.
The patent licensing deal includes Pioneer's auto navigation products and televisions, as well as Microsoft's software products. No financial details of the deal were given, but Microsoft said in a statement that it would be compensated by Pioneer.
The April edition of Managing IP magazine includes an interview with Horacio Gutierrez, vice president and deputy general counsel of IP and licensing for Microsoft.
