New London head of IP for McDermott

Gary Moss has joined McDermott Will & Emery as a partner and head of intellectual property in the London office.

He was formerly London managing partner and head of intellectual property at Taylor Wessing, where he helped drive the merger of Taylor Joynson Garrett and Wessing.

Moss specialises in patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and IT.

McDermott’s former European head of IP, Larry Cohen, moved to Latham & Watkins last year.
