CHINA: Covington & Burling has opened an office in Beijing, its first in Asia. The new office, which handles IT and licensing transactions, IP registration, enforcement and policy and antitrust, is headed by partner Stuart Stock and includes former Warner Bros executive Ellen Eliasoph and former Haiwen & Partners' media, sports and entertainment specialist Cao Yu.
