Duffy, who aced for KSR in last years landmark Supreme Court case and also argued for one of the amici in the pending Bilski case at the Federal Circuit, will speak on global legal innovation and the future of patent rights.
He was listed as one of the 50 most influential people in IP in Managing IPs July/August 2008 issue and has also authored a controversial paper alleging that most of the judges on the USPTOs Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences many have been appointed illegally.
The free e-symposium will also feature four panel discussions on: patent reform; international litigation strategies; new trends in monetizing IP rights; and the rise of the patent troll.
Panellists in the discussions will include Wulf Höflich of Airbus Group, Mark Walker of IBM and James Malackowski of Ocean Tomo.
