The Governments of Hong Kong and mainland China have agreed to set up a Trademark Working Coordination Group to share best practices and improve the efficiency of examination work.
The agreement is part of a closer economic partnership arrangement signed by the two governments on July 29.
Both sides have agreed to share and exchange information and will consider working together in areas such as public education and fighting counterfeits.
