Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione has opened a Raleigh, North Carolina office, located in the high-tech Research Triangle Park area.
The firm has also hired two local patent attorneys, Allen Baum and Joshua Elliott, both formerly of The Hutchinson Law Group. Both will be based in Raleigh.
Baum focuses on pharmaceuticals, biochemistry and biotechnology and has worked as a pharmaceutical chemist for DuPont, Merck Pharmaceuticals and SmithKline Beecham.
Elliott
concentrates on biochemistry and biotechnology, and his clients include technology companies involved in areas such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, antibodies, pharmaceuticals, proteomics and RNA interference.
