Who would you trust to look after your brands? It's probably not a question that you consider very often. But it's one worth thinking about, particularly as on one hand survey after survey tells us of the number of multi-billion-dollar brands that exist, while on the other hand the financial climate threatens to extinguish some very famous ones. It's a question that arises in several different contexts in articles in this issue of Managing IP.
