Fish & Richardson has poached a trade mark attorney from Lovells to head up the trade mark prosecution and litigation team in its newly opened Munich office.
Before joining the US firm, Jan Zecher was responsible for trade mark prosecution and litigation matters at the Hamburg office of Lovells. In addition to his trade mark experience, Zecher has particular expertise in domain name disputes and has conducted more than two dozen UDRP cases during the past two years.
Fish & Richardson opened its German office its first outside of the US in October last year. So far it has hired Italian patent attorney Luca Sutto and German lawyers Frank Peterreins and Alexander Harguth as principals.
