US: Pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson has filed a civil complaint in a New York court alleging that the American Red Cross (ARC) has reneged on an agreement the two organizations have regarding the use of the Red Cross trade mark. The ARC described Johnson & Johnson's action as "obscene".
