US law firm Dreier has hired a team of five patent lawyers from Greenberg Traurig.

Albert Jacobs, Daniel Ladow and Gerard Diebner will be partners in their new firm, Elizabeth Lapadula joins as of counsel and Michael Bauer joins as an associate.

Jacobs was formerly national chairperson of the IP department at Greenberg Traurig and Ladow previously led the IP litigation practice in the firm’s New York office.

Dreier’s IP team focuses on biotechnology, life sciences and business method cases.
