Brussels: The European Federation of
Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) has
established a permanent representation in Japan, the world's second
largest pharmaceutical market. Martin Wright (president of
AstraZeneca Japan) is chair of the EFPIA Japan executive
committee, Masahiro Michisuji (president of Novartis
Pharma Japan) is vice-chairman, and Takashi Kashiwagi
(Aventis Pharma Japan) is the EFPIA Japan
representative.
