EPO presidential decision likely next week

The EPO’s Administrative Council will hold an extraordinary meeting next week, with France’s Benoît Battistelli in pole position to be elected the Organisation’s new president

Battistelli and the other two contenders, Roland Grossenbacher of Switzerland and Susanne As Sivborg of Sweden, have all confirmed to Managing IP that they will not withdraw their candidacies before the meeting, which takes place next Monday.
