Commission makes progress on patent litigation plans

European Commission officials are nearing agreement with users on a proposal for patent litigation reform, according to a member of a select group of lawyers and judges that discussed the latest plans last week

On Friday, Margot Fröhlinger of the European Commission chaired a second meeting of the so-called patent experts, made up of five judges and five patent lawyers representing a total of seven different countries.
